Hand-thrown studio pottery bowl by noted Las Vegas/Henderson ceramist Tom Coleman, decorated in a raised humpback whale that wraps the body with carved fin lines and iron speckling. Layered blue-gray, tan and cream glazes pool softly inside; clear foot ring; signed "Coleman – Vegas" to base. Measures approx 6" dia x 3.25" tall.
Excellent handmade condition with typical glaze variation and a few tiny pinholes.
Display or serve; handwash recommended.
